PLEASE ANSWER THIS FOR ME! What’s with the grunting and groaning by the players? Is that REALLY NECESSARY? No it’s not! It’s actually quite distracting from the game and yes, I love tennis, but hate the grunts and groans; PLEASE. STOP IT!!!!!!
Anyway; The winner of the men's singles title at the French Open will be decided today (June 11th), after rain caused the suspension of yesterday's championship match in the 4th set with 2nd seeded Spaniard Rafael Nadal ahead of top-ranked Novak Djokovic of Serbia 6-4, 6-3, 2-6, 1-2.
On the women's side, second-seeded Russian Maria Sharapova defeated 21st-ranked Sara Errani of Italy 6-3, 6-2 on Saturday to win the French Open for the first time.
