It was a beautiful blue sky September uesday morning on 9/11/01. I was on the air here on WORD and all was normal...but, within minutes, normal as we KNEW it, changed! The skies darkened with ash from crumbling building debris and crumbling lives that were taken in the attack on America. We shared on the air our thoughts, our fears, our hope and SO importantly out deep love for this nation! Let's use this day of remembrance not to just recall the tragedy but to re-capture the feeling of patriotism and pride in being AMERICANS and living in and loving forever the greatest nation in the world! GOD BLESS THE USA! And may WE bless GOD!, Lisa
