Thanks for all the support.... In case you missed the show today, my baby daughter has her first real job up in Washington, D.C. at one of the most acclaimed childrens theatres in the country. They have a shot at winning a $25,000.00 grant from Pepsi to put on the C.S. Lewis classic, " The Lion,The Witch and The Wardrobe" next summer. They can win if they get enough votes and rank in the top 15. I,ve attached her e-mail that explains how you can help..I think a lot of you can relate to my situation... Here is the information about the Pepsi Refresh project that I was talking to you about!
Imagination Stage is in the running for a $25,000 Pepsi Refresh grant to help create this summer's world-premiere of The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe in collaboration with The Washington Ballet. This production will combine theatre, dance, music, and puppetry in a way most children have never been able to witness! Aslan will be a giant lion puppet, much like the puppet currently being used in Broadway's War Horse.
To make this production possible, Imagination Stage needs your vote. The top 15 organizations with the most votes in our category will get the $25,000 grant - please help us be one of them! We dropped back to #20 this morning and would really like to break the top 15 this week!
