So now, thanks to John Boehner, the dufus who's currently posing as Speaker of the House, Barack Obama is the tax cutting hero of the middle class. Way to go John.
Who in the world is devising the strategy for these guys? They allow themselves to be manuevered into a corner, then set themselves on fire like some Buddhist monk in Saigon in the 60's.
It's unbelieveable that Harry Reid and his minions can consistently tie a can to the tail of the GOP and make them look like they are totally clueless. Except that Harry has help from Boehner and Co. And for Obama, this whole situation has the added advantage of having the Speaker hang his own membership out to dry.
Charles Krauthammer wrote a piece today that nails it.
