A North Carolina woman who encountered a malfunctioning vending machine set it on fire after it took her money. 43-year-old Debra Johnson was trying to buy something from a 7-Up machine outside of a supermarket when the machine failed and took her money. Surveillance footage shows her 1st kicking it and then lighting a newspaper on fire and stuffing it into the machine. During a court hearing Johnson told the judge, "I don't need a lawyer to lie for me, cause I'mma tell you I done it."
Now who hasn’t gotten TAKEN by a vending machine! I have!
And honestly who hasn’t kicked 1 before, well, I haven’t done that but only because I would hurt my shoe or toes inside the shoe. Anyway, good for her for taking the rap and saying “guilty”.
Wonder what she’ll get charged for it? Cost of the machine, time behind bars; hopefully some Anger Management Classes!
