Deputies are investigating the deaths of an elderly couple whose bodies were found in their Greenville County home Wednesday morning.
The bodies were found about 10:50 a.m. at 10 Terramont Dr.
Greenville County Deputy Coroner Mike Ellis identified the victims as 78-year-old Gary Wells and his wife, 77-year-old Helen Wells. He said it appears the couple may have died Tuesday. He said both victims had visible signs of trauma.
"Investigators are talking with neighbors in the area, seeing maybe if they saw anything unusual, heard anything unusual, when's the last time they spoke with the homeowners, when's the last time they had seen them out," Smith said
Smith said anyone who may have noticed anything unusual in the area early Wednesday morning should call Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME (864-232-7463).
