Building project planned for downtown Greenville

A major building project is being planned for downtown Greenville that will bring hundreds of apartments and new retail and restaurant space.

Its been learned, The Beach Company, based in Charleston, is planning 375 apartments, 16,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and a parking garage on about 12 acres at the corner of Church Street and University Ridge.

The property is adjacent to the Next Innovation center.
