More charges filed against TR doctor

More charges were filed against a Travelers Rest doctor who was accused of fondling patients in 2011.

Travelers Rest police said Dr. Titus Caddell turned himself Thursday on charges of first-degree assault and battery and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.

According to the arrest warrants, the assaults happened in 2009 and 2011.

Police Chief Lance Crowe said the two victims made reports this year and are not the same victims connected to prior charges on Caddell from 2011.

Caddell was accused last year of fondling patients at his Travelers Rest doctor's office. In the most recent cases, Caddell is accused of touched their private parts without permission.

Following his 2011 arrest, Caddell's license was suspended by the state board.

Following his arrest Thursday, Caddell was released on bond.
