Letters prompt increased security at Laurens county schools

Security has been increased at schools in Laurens county district 55 and 56 after threatening letters were sent to the district offices.

School officials are not saying what the letter contains..Authorities are working with state agents and the school district to determine who wrote the letters.

The increased security will remain in place until the investigation is complete.
